Bird is my Blue & Gold Macaw rescue. That was her name when I pulled her from the shelter. She was being a little aggressvie when I got her out of the shelter and striking to bite me. Understandable, she is with a stranger, noisy dogs and lost.

Birds are very loyal and become extremely attached to their owners so this was normal bird behavior under the circumstances. I got a spray bottle to squirt her with next time she tried to bite. when I approached with the bottle the first time she blurts out, "NO!, NO BITE! Big Bird - step up, step up Bird" and then laughed. She told me her name, she told me she had been trained and knew commands and someone had spent a lot of time with her before she was picked up as a "stray." I wish my dog rescues could me tell all this schtuff too, lol. I did have her sexed so I know she is a girly bird.

We are playing music and dancing and having a good soaking spray bath this afternoon. She loves loud music and likes to dance so ya might wanna turn your speakers down. We're bathing to disco, lol.
