On The Eighth Day God Created Giant Schnauzers

Ch. Halcyon Explosion V Boogie

May 22, 1983-April 12,1994

Magnum was my first Giant and the love of my life. I got him from my friend Sharon Thompson who is also no longer with us. Although they are both in a better place they both are deeply missed.

Ch. Foundary's Two Dollar Pistol

November 29,1985- February 28, 1997

Pistol was my 11 year old baby girl. Magnum was her father so that made her my special girl. She went to the 1996 GSCA National specialty as a veteran at nearly 11 years old and had the time of her life. Pistol's Memorial page

Sonnenschein Liberty Quest

February 9, 1991- January 11, 2000

This is my Guardian Angel, Libby, who woke me up the morning of January 11, 2000 to my home in flames. Libby bravely gave her precious life so that I may live and save the lives of my remaining 5 Giants that dreadful morning. I now wear her tag around my neck in honor of my brave hero who gave her life for ours. You live in my heart, my brave precious Angel. Libby's story was featured in Dog Fancy's Schnauzer issue for saving my life.

Sonnenschein Outlaw Woman

May 16,1989 - April 26,2004
20 days short of her 15th birthday, she had a glorious long life

This is Sam, our handsome rescue boy. He is Pepper/Salt in color in case you are wondering why this Giant isn't our predominant color, black. He was our good will ambassador for rescue because he was such a love and kissed everyone he met. Sam went to the Bridge on December 12, 2005 unexpectedley.

Land of the Giants Family Photo Album

Each year I have wild baby birds and squirrels that need a little help along the way. I hand feed them and release them when they are ready. Its really neat to see them grow up and be the wild babies they were meant to be.

Squirrels ~ Willie and Paris
Wild birds ~ Starling and Sparrow pair
