In loving memory...

Ch. Cdn/Am Ch. Guys 'N Dolls Francesca McGaren

Francesca

October 24, 1985 - December 28, 1997

It is with regret that I announce the passing of Cdn/Am Ch. Guys 'N Dolls Francesca McGaren (Am.Ch. Colthouse Count Basil X Guys 'N Dolls Bea Merry), Oct 1985 to Dec 1997.

Francesca came to live with us in shortly after the Seattle ESAA National. Her grace and beauty knew no bounds as she was friend to all. The last 4 years of her life were spent as ambassador for the breed and K9 Clips....she would wait patiently at the door in her bed to greet all who walked through the door. Francesca also did therapy at the Chemainus Hospital for the last 2 years with her daughter Dee Dee, bringing joy and smiles to those who otherwise, knew not where they were.

She helped raise a very boisterous young Irish Setter male from 12 weeks to the present day and he slept by her chair knowing she was sick, ever watchful over her wellbeing. Her daughter, Cdn Ch. G & D Dark Delores was ever watchful as well as she cleaned her and walked with her outside every day.

Dee Dee was with me today as we silently let her slip away, and on the drive home, her paw on my shoulder, as if to say it's OK, she's safe now. Cheska Weska, Bag of Dirt(nicknamed after coming in from outside full of burrs, twigs, and dirt, while in full show coat) left life as she lived it, peacefully and with grace.

A/C Ch. Guys 'N Dolls Francesca McGaren - October 24, 1985 to December 28, 1997. Thank you Francesca, for allowing me to share your life.
